Will your two-way radios work with my current radio system?

Yes. Two-way radio transceivers purchased from Airwave Solutions will work with all other UHF and VHF radios including Motorola, Kenwood, Uniden, and EF Johnson.

How far will portable radios communicate?

Vertex Standard portable radios operate at 5 Watts of power and are designed to provide complete coverage of a jobsite. If you cannot receive complete coverage, sometimes due to local signal interference or building structure, a repeater may be necessary to extend your signal.

How many radios can be utilized on one jobsite?

The number of radios that may be used on a jobsite is unlimited. It is recommended that for every 10 radios, an additional channel be used.
